Call for green transformation

Civil Engineering and the Green Transition in the Built Environment (CEBE) has been established to both build on and advance existing knowledge while generating new scientific insights and solutions, driving the transition towards a sustainable building sector within planetary boundaries.

To achieve this, CEBE supports research initiatives that advance sustainable development across the built environment and civil engineering.

Through targeted calls, we invite proposals that align with our strategic priorities and contribute to measurable, real-world impact. Further details on these priorities can be found in our roadmap.

Each call is designed to identify and support high-quality projects that strengthen our collective efforts, foster collaboration and accelerate the transition from knowledge to industry implementation. The knowledge generated through CEBE will benefit the entire building value chain.

Vision

A science-based circular, low-carbon and resilient built environment within planetary boundaries.
